Mother tongue in international schools

Growing up in an international environment often means learning and using several languages every day. While children may quickly become fluent in a second language, maintaining strong skills in their mother tongue is equally important, particularly for literacy, academic development and long-term confidence in the language.

Since 2015, French Pass has been supporting French-speaking students in international schools across Singapore through dedicated Mother Tongue and First Language programmes, from Middle School to High School.

Our programmes are designed to develop and maintain strong skills in reading, writing, grammar, literature and oral communication, while supporting students throughout their academic journey and preparing them for international examinations.

Over the years, we have developed long-standing collaborations with international schools including Tanglin Trust School, UWCSEA East Campus , Nexus International School, Chatsworth International School delivering French First Language programmes and supporting students towards excellent examination results.
