Dounia, an entrepreneur, French teacher, and unshakable optimist, created French Pass in 2015 in Singapore.

Dounia means “the world” in some countries and I think I wear this name well.
I landed in Singapore in 2014, a vibrant and enterprising city, in my early 30’s from Canada (the country where I met my partner during a break trip from Switzerland).
After a few weeks, I knew it was the place where I could achieve my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. PASSionate about the French language and culture, I wanted to share that love. So, I jumped ahead and in June 2015 French PASS was born.
My mission is to put a smile on faces, a little French in mind and to help people develop their language skills and understanding of French culture in a fun and friendly environment.
Voilà! After 7 years of providing French Mother Tongue classes in International Schools, private as well as exam preparation lessons, I’m excited to move forward with Le Lab by French PASS. Le Lab is a new studio for group French classes located in the heart of Singapore, at Pearl Hill’s Terrace.
With a team of native-French teachers, we are proud to have created a dynamic community of Francophiles across Singapore.
